According to the Employment and Wages Survey, Ontario has the highest number of job vacancies in all of Canada. There are currently 30,000 job openings.

According to the survey, job vacancies in the healthcare and social services sector rose sharply to 143,000. Which is a significant increase compared to the vacancy rate in April this year. At the same time, it is 20 percent more than May 2021.

Both Nova Scotia and Manitoba had job vacancy rates above 10 percent in May. The two provinces said that there are 1 lakh 61 thousand vacancies mainly in accommodation and food service sector.
